dear old world (PART 3): untitled

Oct 06, 2007 13:40

you teach me what it is to feel
while i feed on mundane meals
mindlessly drive past destinations
you give meaning to my thoughts
bliss, is not heavenly air
but heavy quakes in my heart
every fibre actively, at fault
like surprise key changes
in a favoured song
warmth, is here alive in the fall
all seasons settle deep into my skin
any shivers, more than weather
chills, well past my spine
pleases, are not requests
but are honouring moments
passion, is not a foreign country
departing always a day ahead
love, is not a word
often misspelled
but a language maternal
speaking through to the morning
vision, is indeed a tunnel
i'm squinting wider than ever before
grace, is not a possession
but your effortless gift
not worth my thieving
i don't know what to call you
maybe anonymity doesn't really matter
i shall remain moved, and removed with you
