I finally got the internet working on my PCs. It was the simple problem of just reseting the modem and all it took was calling Comcast and going through their automated system to find out how to reset the modem. I figured it was that in the first place, but didn't really know how to do it. So hooray! I'm happy now.
In bad news, I found out I can't get Comcast out here to install a cable outlet in my bedroom until the 25th. They must be crazy amounts of busy right now if it's going to take that long. So on one hand I have the internet in my bedroom finally and on the other hand I don't get cable in my bedroom for a while. I guess it's a give and take situation.
I've pretty much got my bedroom together finally. I have all my posters and everything up and it makes me happy because it feels up to date instead of feeling like the bedroom I would come home and stay in over breaks and stuff. I guess it just didn't feel like my room anymore. I never spent much time in my room anyway when I was younger because I didn't have TV or a computer in here when I was younger. I got so used to it over the past four years that it was weird to not have it when I came home. Anyway, long story short I feel like my old room is finally my room again.
I saw Superman Returns last night and thought it was a decent movie. It wasn't anything spectacular to me, but I've always found the story of Superman to be somewhat cheesy and found it absolutely ridiculous that people didn't put two and two together that Clark Kent was gone when Superman was around. I understand that people can be dumb, but come on! It's blatantly obvious. It was good though and I enjoyed it. I may end up buying it when it comes out on DVD. I found it interesting that the guy that plays Cyclops in the X-Men series was in Superman and the guy that directed the first two X-Men movies was the director for Superman Returns.
It's beautiful out here today and today is one of those days that I love living in Washington. It's gorgeous out, it's sunny and it's not obscenely hot. I can go out in jeans and a tshirt and feel comfortable. I love it. Now if I could just get a job and make some money so I could fly Jolynn out here because I'm missing her like crazy right now.
