The past few days have been quite excellent mostly because I'm getting out of the house and rekindling old friendships. Monday I went out with Ponbiki. He picked me up and we drove to Fairfield and went to Starbucks and Einstein Bros. Bagels. Holy shit I never had a panini but they are wonderful! We then stopped by Borders and looked around for a good hour. Neither of us bought anything. Then we went back to Andrew's house and ate dinner with his family and his sister Emi's boyfriend Peter. It was really nice being there. Mrs. Lynch is definitely one cool woman and I like being around her. Hopefully some of that coolness and intelligence rubs off on me. It was also really good to see Emi again! I love her. Peter and I talked about Seoul and all the cool places there. He actually stayed in the same area that I did so it was cool to compare experiences.

Today I woke up around 1:30. Good feeling, although I hate wasting all my time on off days in bed. I got an email from Key, which made me smile. I miss him so much and I can't belive my trip has already come and gone. Ponbiki and Sara came and picked me up around 4ish. We met up with Sarah Rich, Chris Troyster, Matt Krankel, and Steph Plude. We met up at Sarah Rich's house and then went to Hayama in Milford for hibachi. I can't tell you how good it felt to eat with sticks again. I miss that so much. The food was delicious as always. Ahh I miss Asian food so much. It's so good. I truly am an egg. After, we drove to New Haven to see "Howl's Moving Castle". It was a great film and really cute. I thoroughly enjoyed it. And Christian Bale was the voice of the main hunk! It doesn't get much better than that huh? Following the movie we drove back to Sarah Rich's house in Shelton. The whole gang walked to get some ice cream. It was fun going down all those hills, but definitely not as fun coming back up them. I got some awesome Maple Walnut ice cream. yum! Once we got back to Sarah's house we had to leave because Ponbiki needed to get home. So he dropped me off and here I am typing. I'm really happy right now, which is good because I've found myself in a sad/bored/homebody funk lately. It was nice to break my usual routine and of course it was so nice to see old friends again. It makes you realize that some things in life will never change. What a great group of people. :)
