And I shall love to listen to the wind in the wheat

Thanks a lot, Chase! Now everyone knows I have a Bajingo.
Unless by bajingo, you meant you. In which case I owe you a hug.
I don't-----I don't really ...have one of those.
What have you heard?

A quick update as to what's goin' down in Sergetown. Mom totally has the money to pay the property tax thing to stop the sale. This is awesome. The thing is, I don't know if she'll actually do it. She would love nothing more than to see Dad lose the house, even if it means she (and by extension, me) would have to find new digs.
Not only that! Dad has also neglected to pay the rent for the past five or so months.
So even if the the government doesn't auction off the house, we might lose it to foreclosure anyway. fun!!
A month ago my mom actually called up some finance company folks that could help sort shit out. Dad said they would go on a Friday and that he would be home early so they would make it to Riverside before the place closed at five.
He comes home that Friday at almost four o'clock, drunk off his ass.
They didn't even find the place.
Mom was pissed but she was like...hey, I tried.
Out of the fucking blue, those same people called us to ask what had happened to us. So maybe she'll talk him into trying again.

I missed one episode of Amores last week. One! And in that one episode they fast forward three years. Adrían has been enrolled in, and graduated from rich kid school. That means I probably won't get to see Andres Fierro as Octavio with his long hair ever again. Damn! Or those awesome school unis. He's got a long-haired best friend now, but it's not him. What is this demonry?

On Acceso Total we got a preview of RTI Colombia's newest production. I forgot what it's called already, but it's straight-up Cinderella story, kinda like Lola was. Only more serious and dramatic with no campy, goofy cartoony shit goin' on.
I probably won't watch it, as there are no snobby high schools, adorable faggot sons or lesbian girl Lauras in it.
No. I only have eyes for Niños Ricos.
And Victorinos. That shit is bananas.
Oh, that reminds me! I was looking at the program description for NR on Luisa's FiOs guide, and it says the show takes place in Mexico City. I was wondering where IMDB got that crap from. That shit is Bogotá.
To their credit, they never, ever make direct references to their city or country. And they use dollars instead of Colombian pesos. I'd guessed that they did all that for us American latinoids.
Oh, and on Victorinos, their police shields actually have the Mexican eagle perched on a cactus clutching a serpent. Just like on the flag.
They also tend to water down their own accents a bit to be more palatable and non-region specific. This is sad, I adore Colombian accents. Argentinian, too.

Eugh, you know what else sucks about not doing anything for Día de los Muertos or Halloween? This year I wanted to look for sugarskull molds again (the good kind, not the white people kind) so I could make skulls for my grandma and for Mr. Larsen.
Again I say, maybe next year.

Maybe I'll go hang with Luisa and her kids. Julian and Andrew are dressing up as Mario and Luigi this year. They aren't going trick or treating though because they aren't allowed to have candy. Fucking what? I'm totally coming down there with two big-ass bags and as soon as she goes to the can or something, I take the kids and we aren't coming back until those bags are full of yummy, tooth-rotting candy. Amber alert be damned!
Julian's birthday party last Saturday was also Mario and Luigi themed. 1-up mushroom shaped cake and everything. (it was yummy) And I got two of those super cool mushroom candy tins.
Julian loved the big-ass Spider-Man poster I got him. Yay!
Not that the kid's very hard to please. He adores me, so everything I like, he likes.
I'm taking advantage of this time before he becomes a teenager and realizes how painfully uncool I am.
For the most part, though, his interests are Nintendo and Marvel Comics. Pshh, easy.

Cousin Ozzy made it to the party, too. He brought the first few issues of Blackest Night for me to read. He knows I've been wanting to get into DC's Blackest Night event. He also brought a Green Lantern concerning the Indigo tribe. Ooh, neat.
Zombie/Black Lantern Aquaman is very creepy. And cool.
I can't wait to see Black Lantern Blue Beetle. Ted Kord's BB suit was neat, I wonder what it'll look like all black and dead-ey.

Anyone catch any trailers for The Fourth Kind? That movie looks delightfully creepy! Scary movie trailers bore me. I'm not hard to scare, but they bore me. This trailer actually makes me uncomfortable, that's a good sign.

LOR PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THIS as it involves Pokemans
Oh!! Shaymin! I finally have a Shaymin! And I caught it all by myself! Like a big boy!
I met this dude Martin a few months ago hoping to somehow barter my way to a Shaymin because he picked up a load of them at the Shaymin event and was selling the extras on eBay (fucking genius). Unfortunately he was fresh out by the time I got ahold of him. So instead he said he'd let me have a Mew, and help me finish off my Kanto starter collection in exchange for some red shards. What a guy!
Well, I got in touch with him yesterday and we set things up to do our trades today, and he also let me know there was yet another Mystery Gift event going on via Nintendo Wifi Connection to receive Oak's letter. Which means Shaymin!
So I downloaded the shit out of Oak's letter and it lead me to that big stone slab at the end of Rte. 224. So I caught me some Shaymin tonight (Thursday!) after an annoying but bearable battle. @(#%& leech seed.
The girl from Floaroma town gave me some Gracidea flowers, too. I was afraid you only got them with the TRU event Shaymin. its Sky forme is really cool, though it sacrifices its defense stats to boost its attack stats. And its faster, ooh.
I apparently missed a Darkrai Wifi event, too. But I still have my TRU Darkrai. I daresay I'll survive.

Also worthy of note, Martin says the Arceus event goes down in November. So keep an eye out for that, Lor.
And obviously, if you haven't already. Download Oak's letter, yo.

My time on the internet being as limited as it is, I finally ventured forth to actually have a sit down with Porter's music. Ah! My goodness. It is beautiful. I may cry.
Actually, all I had to do was Myspace them. I hadn't done it before because I didn't think they'd still have a page since they broke up. I'm glad I was wrong.
I also found out Juan Son has shirts now, that's awesome. They're 260 pesos though. That's not awesome. That comes out to $29 American, including shipping. $22 dollars for a simple t-shirt. But if I had the money you totally know I would buy one anyway.
I would rock a pink tee with Juan Son's face on it so hard. I just don't give a fuck.
Especially since the first 100 orders come with a super cool hand-written somethin'-somethin' from Juan Son.
It would be as if the sun had come to shine on my life.
Or like when your mom leaves a note for you in your lunch.
Actually, my mom never did that for me. I just thought it might feel nice.

Okay, fine, Squenix! You did it. You have gotten me to accept Xion as Kingdom Hearts canon. Are you happy now?
And you can't do this to me. You can't have Goofy and Donald be unlockable characters for mission mode but not Sora and Mickey. They both have in-game poly models, dammit! They have to be unlockable. Which is why I'm going to play the crap out of mission mode and do the challenge missions to collect mission sigils and crowns in the hopes that Mickey and Sora can somehow be bought in the moogle shop or something.
Unless of course I'm wrong, then it means I'll have wasted all that time.
Well, I wouldn't say that. It is incredibly satisfying to smack things as Demyx and Marluxia.
You win yet again, Squenix.
Omg, though. When did Wayne Allwine die? I'm always the last to find out about these things.

¡Pásatelas super duuuper!

And I'll be Central American singing sensation...La Motil!
Keep your nancy hands off
