Long Talk With My Mom...
We talked about everything...
It's been a while since we had one of these talks.
We talked about finances and stuff... I'm going to loan them $6,000. May not be much, but it's something.
She also mentioned that if I wasn't such a badass earlier - then I would have my own car now. But she said that most likely we'll go car shopping in a year or two.
I then brough up my boyfriend - I mentioned him by name, and we talked openly about stuff. She then tells me, "Relationships only work when there's communication - so always communicate openly"
We then talked about school and she began to talk about trust and stuff. My mom is big on trust... She says that if there's anything that I need to say, just say it. If my mom ever does anything wrong - she wants me to tell her.
In the end... she said something that totally caught me offguard... she said, "You know, my love for you, and your father's love for you... is unconditional love. We will always love you. Ok?" I kind of just... burst at the seams when she said that. My parents have never said that to me... ever...
