long time no post
So I'm super sick, I haven't been to my work or internship since Wednesday. The doctor has no idea what's wrong with me. It was like being on an episode of House.
HOUSE
Dr: None of your symptoms make sense with eachother. Either you have two separate illnesses at once or you have something completly different like Mono.
Me: NO! NOT MONO!
Dr: But we won't be able to detect mono for a couple of weeks. So I'm going to give you some pills because if I didn't do anything, you'd be pretty mad. If you don't feel a lot better by Sat. night call my office's emergency number and we'll talk about what to do from there.
Me: (sarcastically) Great...
Dr: You could just have the stomach flu and an undetectable strain of strep at the same time. Also, I'm putting you on an all-liquid diet for at least the next 24 hours. And you can't go to work for at least the next two days, probably longer. Get some rest.
Me: (thinking) ::No Taco Bell for 24 hours!?!?! And no dancing? Why am I alive?::

So in keeping with House tradition, these pills should almost kill me, but then I'll come back. They'll give me another treatment that won't work. Then finally right before I die, they will figure out it's something easy like eczema and I'm cured.
I hate being sick : (
Though maybe if I hadn't eaten that sandwich during my 24-hour all-liquid diet I might have lost a few lbs.
