(no subject)
So im almost all the way moved. i guess i dont really have anymore big items to move, just wall hangings and such, but im still rather excited to be able to move for good. Daniel isnt moving in till sunday because thats when his apartment complex is letting him move in. i know, its rather close to the first day of school and theres not much time for him to get settled. But i guess he doesnt need that much time to get adjusted to new surroundings. Its funny because as i was showing my dad around san marcos on wed. he was very impressed with the campus and that was a nice feeling becuase the way he felt about UTSA was less than inthusiastic. As we were walking by the dorms we saw all the upcoming freshman as they were unpacking and it was cute. All of their parents were talking about how their babies were growing up and all the kids were introducing themselves to one another. In some ways i wish i was a freshman again, coming to a place were there are always special welcoming events and such. But I guess living in an apartment by myself will be rewarding aswell. I might not have fun movie nights or hall meetings, or anything that with time will get annoying and ridiculous, but i will have a large balcony to myself with a pretty view of the hillside, and i have a pretty kitchen that i can cook in. Its all rather neat. So Sundays official move in day no going back. Its going to be a scary but interesting ride, i hope Texas state treats me kind and i hope my 3.9 GPA doesnt go down any. Okay well ill try to write again sometime to keep you guys posted.
