Hey guys. Just updating with my most recent poem that I created today in Spanish cause i was so bored. It's not picture perfect yet but I'll work on it in the coming weeks. I started thinking about all the widowed fathers out there that have lost their wives and that was my inspiration. Let me know what you think.
"Shiver"
The winter's cold chill brings a slight breeze
My soul is unstable and begins to shake
My heart stops and begins to freeze
With you lying there and not awake
With you gone and me alone
I try to move on but I can't hide
The feeling that I too will die soon
Without you here by my side
But as the new sun rises, and the new day begins
And a new warmth replaces the cold
I think of my love for you that will never end
And suddenly I don't feel so old
With a new attitude, I turn my head to the sky
The flames of passion burning
A new twinkle sparks in my eye
A step into the world with new meaning
Because I know you are always with me
Your spirit lives on in my heart
You gave me something that everyone needs
A bonding love that will never fall apart
