I cried. I think we all most of us did.
I'd be lying if i say i wasnt upset. But then again, if you think about it, bigbang deserve the award as much as dongbang did, if not more. After all, they were the one in the korean music scene while dongbang was in japan. And no, i dont hate bigbang for this, of course not. They worked hard for it too. Plus i like them too. Just not as much as i do dongbang and suju.
When they lost the best male group, i sort of guessed that they wont get the daesung either. I think before that i was too sure that dongbang will sweep all the awards, like always. But they didnt. Well, some might say they were still the biggest winner of the night, clinching 5 awards, but then, they lost the most significant ones to bigbang. Daesung isnt called the daesung for nothing y'know.
When changmin cried, i couldnt help but feel sad too. He seldom cry on screen. And su, tears was just welling up in his eyes. I think, they kinda expected that and accepted the defeat, but still couldnt help but feel a little disappointed.
Thats how cruel their industry is. People come and go without strings attached. I think they were also worried, MIA-ing from korea for so long, they'd knew they didnt stand much chance getting daesung. Bel says we expect too much from them. Haha. But thats life isnt it, you will always want more.
Well, i guess theres always next year, though i highly doubt they will release another album next year. Gotta wait another two years. Maybe i can root for suju next year haha.
