At work: Not so busy day

Jul 19, 2006 15:01

Its been a long time since i have updated my blog hence just want to restart my blogging. Its been an exceptionally hot today today and the "tube" felt like a furnace this morning. Didnt have a great start to the day as fell sick because of the heat on the way to work this morning. Didnt sleep well last night as well because of the heat. Due to these i am feeling knaquered and just want to go home as soon as possible. Unfortunately there is a bit of weekly shopping which needs to be done today and hence have to do that as well after work. Forcast says thunderstorms later today so the evening should be pleasant.

At work, had a big release today but the day isnt as busy as it is projected to be during important releases (maybe i have dont so many releases that i can now do them in my sleep :) ). Not very proud of that one though. Would like to get out of this as soon as i get a suitable opportunity outside of this. My manager is back from his holiday tomorrow and i need to arrange a meeting with him to track the progress of things which we had discussed earlier. If the things start working out as discussed earlier then at least the work does look exciting for the future.

Have booked a trip to Paris for my birthday weekend. Hope both of us get our Visas so we can go an enjoy our french break. I am really looking forward to that one. I have already been to Paris five times before but thats one city which one can visit as many times as he likes. There is always something new, something exciting each time i go to Paris not to mention the food outside of UK (especially in France) just worth going to Paris for thr food. Infact the best Indian restaurant i have ever been is in Paris (including the ones i have been in India). This time i think i would finally visit the Louvre. Not that i am a big art fan but just seems a bit odd that i have been to paris so many times and havent visited Louvre. Da vinci code being the other reason i think i would go to the Louvre.
