(no subject)
So. If all went accordingly to plan I would be on the 90 east en route to Boston right now for the first of the better part of a month's worth of days away from home. To be sitting in the UPS store's west seneca location instead is a disappointment, to say the least. But there's no use in complaining. At least we've salvaged well over half the dates and I'll be leaving Tuesday. And at least I had a really delicious dinner last night.
I'm very happy I removed myself from job #2. Things were starting to get a little too shitty there and a little to crazy over all. I think 45 hours a week plus the other bullshit I do for the summer will be just fine.
Otherwise it's been the usual work/girl/practice/show or whatever. It's been a pretty good couple weeks. And the sun just came out. That's nice.
EDIT: The last few months have given me an extra push to live with a purpose. It seems like I'm surrounded by people who hate their jobs and are in the process of getting themselves stuck in the mess they're in. It's made me gain some additional inspiration to not become one of those people who walks into their job in a bad mood, splits at quitting time and heads right to some shit bar to see other miserable wrecks, and does the same thing the next day. School, travel, and other people are top priority for me. And not in that order.
