We're buying a house!
The offer was accepted but the home inspection still needs to be done.
And we have to be out of our current apartment by March 31st.
So there's a chance that I will be moving furniture that day.
The birthday present I want most is to wake up the morning of my birthday in our new house with everything moved into the house. I do NOT want to be doing last minute "ohshitwehavenotimeleft!" moving. Especially with the tendonitis.
So... wish us luck that everything goes smoothly & quickly.
The seller wants it to go as smoothly & quickly as we do - very important bonus!
Wish us luck and ... I don't often do this... I'm sending out a prayer/goodthoughts request for Carter Clements of Chelmsford MA. He's an aquaintance (he's 18 and a talented musician)
who got into a car accident 2 weeks ago so badly he's been in an induced coma since. He's stable, but they don't yet know how he will be cognitively. The cause of the accident is unknown, he was on his way home from a job interview (and he landed the job) but he's going to need extensive rehab even if he wakes up okay next week.
And if that isn't enough my great aunt & great uncle are in the hospital and Uncle Ed only has 20% function in his heart after his heart attack. He's in good spirits though, just hooked up to tons of machines. ugh.
But, again in the positive, we're buying a house and everyone in my immediate household is safe & healthy. My baby turns 4 next week. I've lived in MA for almost 5 years.
