I need a place to stay
secure, complete.
A group of peers, not peers
but true friends.
We've been through everything
together. conquering everything
in our path. Nothing could ever
go wrong in the
companionship that binds us.
If there were somewhere where
i fit in without strings.
when everyone likes you,
but not a full like:
a passing entertainment without
any real meaning. If in trouble,
would they back you up or let you fall?
discarded, not truly needed or
understood?
Trying to bury you're existence in
unnecessary, frivolous pastimes.
Will these momentary events survive
the test of time and be remembered,
years from now? No, true bonds between
soul friends, thats what counts.
Or, does anything count for anything at all?
Has the world tricked itself into
a false assumption that what
they do each and every day
has a real effect on the world.
Chances are, my rudimentary actions
today will not have a single effect
on much at all a year from today.
a choice must be made: Wasting your
short time here in meaningless self-gratification,
or a time well spent making life-bonds with
those who you truly care about and can relate to.
This world is an enigma,
it is impossible to understand
what turn tomorrow will take.
