[Kara continued to push against the force, but she had already been in several fights today and would have needed all her flesh to begin with to fight against this. Finally, she was forced to start back peddling.]

[He stops the force pushing her back and raises his palm up, to hold her in place. He doesn't bother dropping her against a wall. There's a shine in his eyes as he curls his fingers together- all but the one, and he starts drawing it to the side, pointing at her forehead-

Wait, what is he doing? He can't get all bloodied up, not when she's infected. He sighs and pulls his hand down, letting her go completely. Damn, this was frustrating.]
