Alright, so I know Blair has left the City but that's totally not going to stop the party we have planned for the Midsummer's Night party, which includes the play. If you have any questions about it, please let me know, I've got all of Blair's plans for the party and was doing half of it anyways. Pollen, sand, droplets of sea water... all very dangerous.

It would be a deterrent for a monk, but certainly not for a friar.

What is a friar, specifically?

Specifically, a friar is a member of a mendicant order who has taken a vow of poverty--that is, a friar can't own anything, technically, and gets by by begging. Traditionally, friars are heavily involved in ministry, but I'm something of an exception.

In short, friars are monks with fewer earthly possessions and fewer rules.
