Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
Kageyama Shun is 170cm tall. He has a bust size of 77cm, a waist circumference of 62cm, and a hip size of 86cm. Thank you, Japan. At the moment, he is the skinniest he has been in his life, due to living on an unsteady diet of instant noodles and darkness.
2. How old is he?
20 years.
3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
He does have a tendency to slouch a little. He always was the type that took things easily if he could, and falling to hell with Yaguruma didn't positively affect that. He considers himself trash and a loser, so that usually can be seen in the way he carries himself as well.
4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
For a guy that has been been sleeping under an overpass and living on instant noodles, he is still pretty healthy. He is in good physical condition from getting in fights all the time. He is probably always a little bruised up, either from those fights or from Aniki's punishments. He has no physical disabilities except for chronic loserdom.
5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
He is fairly energetic. He is still pretty young and emotional, and that can be seen from his style of fighting and transforming. He more often than not, transform while running rather than striking a pose. The more angry he gets, the more jerky his movements become, and if he gets angry enough, he will punch anything that is close by.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
He is fairly attractive if you are into the short, subby type of guys. His personality is probably less attractive than his physical appearance. He looked better when he still owned a comb. He perceives himself a loser, and doesn't really care about his physical appearance. He never did.
7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
Pale as all hell. He also has a long scar over his cheek.
8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
Black, kind of wispy, especially at the ends. He has had the same simple parted with some bangs style his entire life. It looks more messy now because people who have fallen to hell don't need things like combs and brushes.
9. What color are his eyes?
Black.
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
Is a nice ass a noteworthy feature? Not that you can really see it under his coat, but.
11. What are his chief tension centers?
Tendou.
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
When he was still TheBee, he wore the same suit each day, though complimented with a grand total of three or four different shirts (Yeah, ZECT probably paid him in dog bisquits) He also never wore a tie since becoming the leader of Shadow seeing as he hates such formalness and he could finally get away with not wearing it.
Now that he is a Hopper, his wardrobe can only be described as bad homogoth wear. He wears black (leather?) pants, a red sleeve-less tanktop, a faded leather jacket with one arm torn off, and black shoes. All his clothes are a little faded or torn up. In addition to this, he wears a couple of chains around his neck, a two handfuls of rings, a metal bracelet around his upper arm and a leather and metal studded collar.
13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
Comfort belongs to people who are not losers.
Really though, he looks comfortable enough in his clothes. If not a little cold at night.
14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
He doesn't have a job anymore. :c
15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
Boxers.
Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
Fairly low and even? Nothing remarkable.
2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
Back when he was still the commander of Shadow, he gave orders in a firm, clipped tone. Whenever he is with people higher than him, he tends to speak a little pleadingly or sometimes outright begs. Now as a Hopper, he speaks pretty softly and occasionally is prone to fits of wistfulness.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
None. Regular Tokyo-ben. He tends to overuse the words 'loser', 'trash' and 'I envy you'.
4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
Japanese, fluently. English, kinda enough to make himself understandable?
5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
He switches between more and less polite forms of japanese, depending on who he talks to.
6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?
He's a good impromtu speaker and is a pretty quick thinker.
7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
Just your general level of eloquence. It goes out the window when he gets really angry.
Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
He is pretty intelligent. He is a good strategist. He is probably not the most book-smart person, but he can lead a high-level elite military organisation so he is not a dumbass either.
2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
Very good at thinking on his feet. He needed to learn to survive in the heat of battle.
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
A healthy mixture of both. He learned his combat tactics, but he also knows when to adjust them. He was more idealistic in the beginning, but slowly he became more pragmatic and a means to the end kind of character.
4. What kind of education has the character had?
Graduated high-school, then went to ZECT's combat academy. He has also had some medical training in addition to his general soldier training.
5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
Combat, military strategies. He'd probably like to know more about medical training in case his Aniki gets hurt or sick or something. People like them don't belong in hospitals, after all.
6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert?
He kind of straddles the edge between them? Mostly an extrovert, but not the type that makes a lot of friends. He just interacts with people. He has become more introverted under Aniki's philosophy, but his tendency to reach out to people/the light still shines through.
7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
He has a tendency to let his emotions get the back of him. He has been told off for it but he can't help it. He's general disposition is depression and unmotivated. Motivation is for people who still have hopes and dreams.
8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
He expects all new situations to happen in his disadvantages, and meeting new people he expects them to laugh on him.
9. Is he more likely to act, or to react?
React.

Fight fight fight.

He doesn't crack jokes really. Other than that it is mostly the dark, sarcastic kind of gallows humour.

None, officially. Though there is his depressions and unhealthy co-dependence.
13. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person?
The most defining moment is Yaguruma inviting him down to hell with him. He was on death's door step and he would've surely died if Yaguruma had not acted. Yaguruma is the only one who still acknowledges him and he's the only one who he will stick with.
14. What does he fear?
To be abandoned by Yaguruma, the only person who still cares for him.
15. What are his hopes or aspirations?
Hopes and aspirations are not something he concerns himself with anymore.
16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him?
That he still hopes for things.
Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents.
Like so many people, his parents died in the Shibuya impact when he was around thirteen. Before they died, they had a fairly good relationship. They weren't very rich and his parents had to work pretty hard to afford stuff, but they did okay.
2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
None.
3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand?
There is nobody left of his family except him.
4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them?
Aniki!
He considers Yaguruma Sou part of his family. He calls him Aniki (big bro) as a sign of respect, though their relationship isn't exactly like your normal pair of brothers.
5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
Again, Yaguruma. They met when Kageyama first joined Shadow, fresh from ZECT's training academy and Yaguruma was Shadow's leader at the time. Kageyama always idolized him a lot.
6. Does he have other close friends?
Nope.
7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people?
He has a lot of trouble getting along with people due to the fact that he so strongly focuses his loyalty on one person. Because of this he can be rude towards other people especially if they disrespect his chosen person.
Right now he is just a loser, so of course people wouldn't want to be his friends.
8. Which does he consider more important: family or friends?
Yaguruma. He doesn't have anyone else.
9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once?
Partnered.
10. Is he currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse?
I'm not sure if you can really call it romantic but he and Yaguruma have this thing
11. Who was his first crush? Who is his latest?
First ever? Probably someone like the class president back in school. Or the captain of a sport's team. His latest is Yaguruma.
12. What does he look for in a romantic partner?
Someone who will never ever abandon him, and who will look at him, and who will be with him, and who will treat him a little roughly?
13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any?
Haha, no. These genes are never getting passed on.
14. Does he have any rivals or enemies?
Teeeendou
Okay, he hates Tendou. Tendou probably can't remember his name anymore.
15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the Kinsey scale?
Difficult. He is attracted to people more powerful and competent than him rather than a specific gender. He wants to please them in any way possible.
16. How does he feel about sex? How important is it to him?
He is twenty and has all the relevant hormones? He won't die without it, but he does like it because it is a way to please the people he likes.
17. What are his turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
Most irresponsible sub ever. Safe-word is what?
His turn-ons are whatever his partner wants them to be, same with his turn-offs. He'll do anything for whoever he is with. Anything.
Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does he fit type?
Kageyama's birthday is on May the 2nd. This makes him a Taurus. Typical Taurus strengths are: 'Compassionate', 'Dependable', 'Loyal and reliable' and 'Strength'. Typical Taurus weaknesses are: 'Stubborn', 'Sensitive', 'Aggressive' and 'Dislikes change'. Though he does have some of the typical Taurus strengths and weaknesses, he is really too volatile to be considering a typical Taurus. He does have the possessiveness of the Taurus down though.
Kabuto takes place in 2006. This makes Kageyama's birth year 1986. This makes him a Tiger, with the element of fire. He has the extreme short-temperedness of the tiger down, however he is not always as sympathetic as they are known to be.
As an aside, Yaguruma was born on 30th January, 1982. This makes him an Aquarius and a Dog. This makes them reasonably compatible on both fronts.
2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in his life?
He believes in hell because he is in it. Other than that he is not strongly spiritual or religious. He was raised as a mixture of Buddhist and Shintoist as most kids are in Japan and it does shine through occasionally, but very very very rarely. (think only at a funeral and mostly as a passing thought)
3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?
He... does have a personal code or ethics, however it is very easily abandoned in favour of whatever code or ethics the person he is currently idolizing holds. For example, he doesn't completely believe they are beyond hope like Yaguruma does, however he continuous to parrot his believes because he wants to please Aniki.
4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
If people think he is not a loser, he tells them they are wrong. Other than that, he does not care.
5. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them?
Woooorms, hate. Tendou, haaaaate.
They are kinda rational in that the worms were indirectly responsible for killing his parents and he has seen what they do. (they also end up being his death, but doesn't know that yet). Tendou actually has valid reasons for treating him like he did, cause Kageyama was a little dick to him, but that doesn't change his haaaate.
Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is he rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
Dirt poor.
2. What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him?
His social status is loser. He used to be much higher in status, being the fairly well respected leader of an elite military team, but that was a long time ago. Now most people wouldn't even take the time to spit on him.
3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others?
Under a bridge with his Aniki.
4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on?
Money? What money?
5. What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else?
He doesn't have a job anymore. Jobs are for people who still have hopes and dreams.
6. What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time?
He... doesn't really have interests or hobbies. When he was in ZECT, he was so dedicated to his job and gaining recognition that there was never any time for stuff like that. And now he is too much of a loser to deserve hobbies. He's broke anyway, so he wouldn't be able to do things anyway.
7. What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?
Instant noodles alllll the way. And they do probably skip meals here and there cause they are broke and homeless.
