[Ezio wasn't the only one confused after witnessing this incredibly strange (and painful) scene. While flattered to be included in any handsome man's dream, this particular one was...rather odd.

That was an understatement.]

I really need to invite you over for a proper dinner, don't I?

[ He doesn't even know, Naomi, he really doesn't. But he's had stranger dreams...somehow. ]

I suppose I should take that dream as a hint that I need a proper meal, so I may have to take that offer, Naomi.

[Stranger than this? No, dear. She doubts that.]

Excellent. No rocks, I promise. As delicious as that would be.

[ Let him pretend that eating rocks isn't the weirdest thing he's dreamed of. ]

Ah, now you're spoiling me.

[Serah's honestly not sure what to say about that.]

So I'm guessing it's not normal to eat rocks where you're from either?

Not usually, no. I assume the dream is a hint that I need a proper meal lest I resort to actually eating rocks.

Is that it? [She smiles, shaking her head a little. It's okay adopted big brother. Little sister will help.] That doesn't sound so hard. Why don't you come over for dinner some time? That way you can meet Snow.

[Her smile takes on a more mischievous note.]

I'll see about getting my sister to come and I promise no rocks on the menu too.

Ah, yes. That would be nice, actually.

[ oh lord. ]

If there were she would likely be throwing them.

(Wrath watches the dream, recognizing the furry one and Dr. Naomi Hunter, the latter whom he fears and thus hates. From viewing the dream, he learns that the humans must know each other, as they show up eating together at the same table. He watches Hunter, the furry one, and two unknown individuals ingest the rocks. Seeing them eat the rocks reminds him immediately the Red Stones he has in his pocket, so this prompts him to inquire.)

Are all four of you human?

(He levels the question at the dreamer, who apparently is confused by the dream.)

[ Well that was a weird question. ]

The last I checked; Si.

(Yet another one with a strange accent. They are all human, according to the man on the screen, a man with somewhat drooping eyes and firm features.)

Of course. What a silly thing to ask. Why dream of rocks, sir? Do you deal with them on a regular basis?

[ Ezio sits up in bed, setting the dreamberry down and not really bothering to look at the unknown man on the screen as he works on waking up properly. ]

I would like to know why myself. [ brow lift. ] No, I can't say I do.

[...ffff. How.. incredibly bizarre.]

Looks delicious.

Looks can be deceiving, signorina. I don't recommend them.

So I take it this isn't a typical meal.

Hardly. I've never been so far down that I've had to resort to eating rocks.

[There's a subtle amused smile on his lips as he watches the dream]

I had no idea that rocks were an Italian delicacy...

I SEE YOU SNEAKING. punchesbards February 16 2011, 22:40:48 UTC
You must not have been paying much attention when you 'watched my life' then.

YOU HAVE SEEN NOTHING! failssassin February 17 2011, 03:56:42 UTC
[Wow, you're still angry about that? Holding a grudge much? It's not his fault, man! It's hard for Desmond not to roll his eyes at Ezio's words, but he still manages it.]

Right. If I had been paying attention, I would also have remembered that your sense of humor is mostly lacking.

I've seen everything. punchesbards February 17 2011, 21:56:57 UTC
Now I know for certain you were not paying attention.
