1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
Ezio is extremely intelligent considering he didn't even finish all his schooling when he was younger. However he is more street-smart than book-smart due to his life an assassin. He has to be more than a little knowledgeable if he is to command an entire order of assassins.

2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
More often than not Ezio has no choice but to think on his feet. The life of an assassin is more or less unpredictable and as such he doesn't have time to make long term plans concerning missions. On the off chance he even has time to deliberate, he will think things through to the best of his ability.

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
Ezio has to be a little bit of everything really. He is extremely idealistic though like the rest of the assassins, looking to create a future where people are free to make their own choices instead of ruled by a power-hungry and corrupt government.

4. What kind of education has the character had?
He didn't finish his formal education, but I assume that he learned a bit while at home. He wasn't very interested though.

5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
Considering he was going into banking before becoming an assassin, I'd say his expertise lies in math and problem solving skills so far as education goes. Otherwise he's, again, an assassin and is good tactician and leader. Since he's more street-smart he is very skilled with various weapons and combat techniques.

6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert?
Extrovert, mostly. He is very sociable because of his upbringing, but he does hide a lot of things from people because of his past and his profession. Maybe a little of both in a sense? he enjoys being around people, he just knows he can't be sometimes.

7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
Ezio's temperament is complicated. When he was younger he was very emotional and easily-angered. Now that he is older he can withhold such extreme emotions most of the time, but he is still a very passionate man. When given down time he enjoys a more laid-back approach, but is ultimately driven by his goals and his desire to fulfill them; such as with avenging his family. He is fairly cheerful, but if someone hits a nerve with him he will swing somewhat drastically.

8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
He usually responds well to new people, but not so much new situations. He enjoys meeting people ( especially women ) and is, again, very sociable if the time calls for it. He knows when he has to be serious, and sometimes if something seems out of place he is very suspicious and untrusting of those around him. It all depends on first impressions with Ezio, if someone says something weird, he will likely take a long time to trust them and be overly suspicious of them until that point. he doesn't trust easily, and while he may come off as a very friendly person; he often times lies to get information out of people and nothing else.

9. Is he more likely to act, or to react?
Act, no question. Ezio doesn't hesitate to help anyone he can if it is in his power to do so.

10. Which is his default: fight or flight?
Fight. See above.

11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?
Oh lord. Ezio is just full of ridiculous sexual innuendos, that is what his humour mostly is. If he is close to someone he'll openly tease them more often than not as a form of affection and endearment. Humour helps him cope with some of the problems in his life, amongst other things.

12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them?
None that I can think of, no.

13. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person?
When his father and brothers were hanged, definitely. Before then he was a regular, happy young man with a girlfriend and a loving family. After that he was forced to become an assassin and the next 20+ years his sole purpose in life was the avenge his family. It defined most, if not all, of who he is now.

becoming a master assassin and the head of the brotherhood, also, have given him distinct traits that make him who he is now. He's more confident and he relies on his brothers more than anyone.

14. What does he fear?
Losing those close to him. Every time he gets close to someone they somehow end up leaving him; either in death or for some other reason. His family has suffered for his mistakes in the past and he fears letting them down or losing what remains of them now. The same could be said for his friends and the assassin order, which more or less has became a family of sorts.

15. What are his hopes or aspirations?
To finally put an end to the corruption caused by the templars, to hide the apple where no one can find it and where it will not cause further harm, and to finally live his life.

16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him?
He has a big guilt complex and often times blames himself for things he has no control over. He doesn't like divulging the fact that he is an assassin because he knows he will be judged wrongly. He doesn't want anyone to know about his insecurities and his mistakes.
