Response to Fahrenheit 9/11

Well I'm posting this nearly a week and a half after I thought I would. I was quite busy with my practicum for my internship. I never knew how much hard work teaching required.

1. I'd like to see proof that mistakes between names were deliberate and criminal. "No one has proven intent to disenfranchise any group of voters."

In retrospect, my comments on Moore's depiction of the Florida purge was nitpicking.

2. You're damn right, he's never been a leader in his life. But just remember that the 9/11 commission praised Bush's resolve and calmness during the attacks. I know what you'll say- half of the 9/11 commission is made up of Republicans; asking Republicans to investigate Bush is like asking Philip Morris to investigate the deleterious impact of cigarettes. But keep in mind that the 9/11 commission's findings thus far have mostly amounted to negative press for Bush.

3. Michael Moore is a commentator, not an AP Staff Writer.

"I realize that Moore’s film wasn’t designed to be an objective account of the last four years"

Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh are commentators too, that doesn't mean they can say whatever they want with impunity.
