(no subject)
First update since I've been back! I really really just wanted to come home my whole vacation...it sucked. Why spend my week in a foreign state on a dirty lake? Without my favorite sandals? :(
Everything seemed to break...my sandals...and then I was kayaking and the "waterproof" compartment on the kayak..wasn't so very waterproof. So the cell phone was shot and I had to use my Canada phone card and a pay phone to call people.
The plumbing also broke. So I spent my week walking to the pool for showers and walking to the deli to use their bathroom. Worst fucking week ever. The plumbing broke last summer too, and Erin and I stole water from our neighbors and showered under their hose when they went out. Hehe.
I'm really excited to be home. In MY bed. etc etc. Erik called me last night and we must have talked a bit too long becuase I totally slept through church this morning. Oops.
I'm at work now. Emma and I are going out for coffee and then I'm going to Radio Shack to put a deposit on my new phone battery hehe.
Erik, if you read this before I call you, I can't hang out tonight becuase I have work early tomorrow. :(
