It's a sad excuse to act like a barmy fool and receive praise for it. The branches have no real substance, at an rate; one cannot simply predict the future from nothing.
I have no wish to see my future; and even if I did, I would not resort to Divination unless I had no other choice. You seem to have forgotten that one of Arithmancy's most basic goals is to calculate future events - at a higher rather than silly predictions.
