i've been so busy i haven't had a lot of time for reflection or consideration of the things i've been up to, and it's good. it's keeping me honest with myself, at least.
i saw luke on sunday for dinner. i handed over my lego babies and we had chinese food. we made plans for a thundercats marathon. i will buy a shirt.
monday i was up at 6 a.m. for moving-awesome. everything went along without a hitch, and after a lot of hard work and elbow grease (and even a sunburn - how, i don't know) i locked the door on my absolutely spotless apartment at 4:30 p.m.
in drawing class i got my pear back, along with the surprising news that it had been selected by a curator from the san diego museum of art for a special exhibition of san diego art students. apparently the face on my pear was particularly threatening. i'll try to get a photo of it up somewhere. ironically, the other girl named beka in my class had her work selected as well. palomar college will be entirely represented by rebecca's. most excellent.
then i drove down to my mom's and tried to remember what it was i used to do when i lived there. it's still odd, since i haven't yet made any effort to unpack (i couldn't find my toothpaste this morning, disgusting), but maybe things will be remedied this evening. maybe i'll just crash.
