Joy unspeakable!

pardon me but I'm using my iPhone to type cos my dad banned me from the com D:

Sunday
Went to the 1 room flats at Jalan Besar and I was totally blesse by the people there. Yes, we were there to bless them, I think what I've received is better than any material needs.

God showed me many things through the people there. Firstly, me and Qi En went knocking on every door and we were either ignored or rejected for the first 30mins or so. I was so demoralized and felt so upset. And the first auntie I smiled at, ROLLED HER EYES AT ME D: Rejection, what a feeling. Then God showed me how that resembles our relationship with Christ. God is always knocking on our doors, are we willing to open up and let God be part of our lives and bless us? I did. & I'm so glad I did.

Hmm, then Mabel and Trevor joined us. I was glad, the more the Merrier! And I spoke less than 5 sentences to Qi En so I was kinda bored. Haha. When there was finally a door which opened, it wasn't very pleasant. The uncle WHACKED his own door from inside and shouted at us ): i was scared honestly. Oh well, then we moved on and checked put other levels. Felt kinda depressed cos the other teams already did something and our team was still..... Roaming around. So I prayed.

Then Rebecca told 2 of us to go help clean windows for this uncle (YAY! I felt like super happy I could do something and make myself useful). So I went with Trevor. Another thing I learnt, was TO CLEAN WINDOWS! Really, I never knew how to clean it. I've never done it before and it's not that I don't do housework, just never cleaned widows. (I mop the floor and wash dishes and wash my own shoes okay!) thank God for Trevor, he knew very well how to clean cos he worked in NUM. haha. Then I learnt abit or 2 from him :) I'm proud to say I am now good at cleaning windows and I did a Better job than him mwahahahahahaha.

The uncle spoke abit to us and showed us pictures of his family and when he was younger. Then he kept saying "don't look like on others you must always treat everyone equally regardless of their background" his words were like... Wow, they may be old, they may not be educated, but when they talk, it strikes me. I love how he kept smiling :) he thanked us with smiles and I think that's enough.

I walked out of that house feeling light, happy, smiley, tired and sweaty. God made me deal with bird shit stuck on the windows, scrub the Same window 4 times and yet I didn't complain, the joy in me was unexplainable.

So then Trevor and I decided to join Qi En and Mabel to talk to this other uncle with his room mate. HE'S SO CUTE. He kept adjusting his dentures with his tongue and kept wanting to give up his seat to let us sit. But it was enough anyway. Had a good chat with him and brightened up his day. He's already a Christian so yep :) it was good!

After that, had short lunch, with a $50 note -.- bought food worth $1-$2. Soooo paiseh. Then continued! Bought the food and gave out the stuffs. Each time we gave out, we added "Jesus loves you, God bless you" either in eng or chi, and I really hope that impacted their lives. The smiles on their face simply melts me.

Then there was this ah peh that wanted to commit suicide but Ros, Chui Zhen, Gladys and Jie en managed to talk to him and bright him to Christ! AWESOME OR WHATTT! God is so real. It was bot a coincidence that we met that ah peh. God plans everything so well that there is no doubt He does everything for the best of our interests. Just be patient and wait, God ha His own perfect timing.

I love my day, I love my God, I love my LG, I love the new friends I've made, I love how God uses everyone of is for His glory and to bless other like how much He has blessed me. How happy am I? Ask Okky. This was how our conversation went:

dont you feel joy in helping others!?what's wrong with you!" I said. He replied "not SO MUCH joy until Im going crazy and telling everyone about it"

Yes, it's that much joy God gave me.
