I can't believe another October is upon us! Last year's OPotDC doesn't really seem that long ago somehow. But I'm thrilled that it's here again!

This picture definitely made me think of two little girls picking out their very first pumpkin of the year, so I'm glad you saw that too! The farm near me actually had a commercial one year with two girls pushing a huge pumpkin up a hill, now that I think about it. I guess I kind of recreated that without really trying to.

I really wish I would've paid more attention to those larger pumpkins last year when we first got them in at work. I just don't see how they all could've gotten away without stems, but it just doesn't seem likely that someone went around stealing them all, either. lol Maybe they were just made really poorly last year and most of the stems fell off in shipping, or something? It's going to be one of those unsolved pumpkin mysteries, I guess.

Yeah, it's been a very rough year for me, particularly the past couple of months, so literally everything feels like a chore to me right now and as much as I didn't want to add something else to the list of things I need to do, I need this to force myself to enjoy October at least a little bit each day.
