well i have today off and it's been awhile and i like these things so ya know
UPDAYTAHH
this is like a new years survey, ill just do it for the semestre tho
1. What did you do in 2006-7 that you'd never done before? - got food poison ;-) ahaha. uhm, drove to school ALL BY MASELF. bought my own groceries ALL BY MASELF. since all i've ever done is dance read sing and write -- ya know...nothing TOO TOO new.! oh der, I WENT TO THE BAR LEGALLY YE YE YE
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? i never made one, if i ever do its just 'to be happy and fancy and free' and i did all of those, as always, obviously.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? no
4. Did anyone close to you die? nope, thats a good thing to note!! i'm thankful for that!
5. What countries did you visit? uhm the U S OF A! i didn't just visit, lived here, for yet another year.
6. What would you like to have next year that you lacked this year? err...A 4.0!
7. What date will remain etched upon your memory, and why? I am SO bad with dates! but, lets see. the whole semester was a shitshow, but a happygolucky one for the most part. obviously my 21st I'll remember. the beginning of this summer. ya know.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? 3.5 MOTHERFUCKER! uh uh what what ye crazycait!
9. What was your biggest failure? learning to manage my anger, but next year that will probably be my biggest achievement!! now, there's something to look forward to!!!!
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? tragically, i had a flu on the weekend of my 21st. nothing a little cranberry juice and vodkee coulden't doctor up though. i also must not that i never had pinkeye! i have learned to take my contacts out after 36 hours of wear or more!
11. What was the best thing you bought? let's see: the new tatoo is probably number one. all my cowgirl and pirategirl boots. omfg, my black poofy sweater from the limited, that was legit the best 24 dollars i have ever spent! i am so happy with that purchase STILL and i bought it at like THANKSGIVING!
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? without doubt, Lizzy. She's been there for me even when I was mean to her. really, all of my roomies, but Lizzy and I have been together for so long and her patience speaks so highly of her. I love her.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? dead honestly, my own. there is someone who takes a close second place. but while my maturing has been mostly impressive, I have a long way to go in order to finish!!
14. Where did most of your money go? let's see 1. 18 packs of Miller High Life 2. two packs a day of Mustang Ultra Light 100's 3. Southern Sunsations Tanning Salon in Hadley, Ma. 4. stupid CVS purchases like qtips, Pantene Midnight Expressions Shampoo and Conditioner. 5. Groceries: normally english muffins, yoplait orange flavored Whips and microwave popcorn.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? my finals grades! the apartment, generally, decorating it, the parties had there, any visits that took place there. and of course, comming home for the summer!!
16. What song will always remind you of this year? Simon and Garfunkle's Greatest Hits - whole album. Donovan's Rikki Tikki Tavi and Atlantis. Nelly Furtado's Maneater. and that bounce your bubble baby song lol.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? far happier, and lucky for me, I was also quite happy then!
ii. thinner or fatter? i'm down like 10 pounds actually.
iii. richer or poorer? about the same, changes hourly. for example, I picked up a 112 dollar paycheck this morning, but after Victoria Secret's spending 40 bucks, beers tonight, ect. ya know...goes fast!
18. What do you wish you'd done more of? told the good friends in my life how much love and appreciation I have for them. worked out! never did once the whole semester, now that I'm home I see how much I love the gym.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of? smoking and bitching. I need to stop both before one of them is the death of me.
20. How will you be spending Christmas? that's too far away to say lol.

23. How many one-night stands? zero. 'if you can't keep it in your pants, keep it in your 'family'' (ya know, your crew)
24. What was your favorite TV program? without a doubt! I LOVE NEW YORK! Roseanne too, but that is always my favorite show. Me Jill Lizzy and even Joe watched that RELIGOUSLY!
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? no, as a matter of fact I think I love more people in a way, because I've seen how much all my friends mean to me, from literally EVERY group of friends, it's almost overwhelming!!
26. What was the best book you read? Nella Larsen's "Passing" it's actually only like 120 pages, short story in a way. So in that case Edith Wharton's "Summer" is the runner up.
27. What was your greatest musical discovery? hmm, Donovon was a big one, Janet Jackson was a big one, the Dirty Hit!! my boys, seeing them play was phenom!!! maybe the musical discovery of them all though, was my own (very effed up) rendition of radiohead's Creep with the boys one morning in the wee hours.
28. What did you want and get? some good grades!! A HAIRCUT FINALLY LAST WEEK!! uhm, and I'll have to say peace of mind, though I don't fully have it nor did I know I wanted it all along.
29. What did you want and not get? a better job while at school, with more money!!
30. What was your favorite film of this year? I saw Death to Smootchie for the first time, amazing. High Fidelity, amazing. I never see movies when they are out, takes me 6 or 7 years lol.
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I turned 21 but I was kinda sick. I went to the Harp with Trey, Thom and Alex and saw The Dirty Hit, then went to a party on Gwood and saw another band, I forget the name but, SO GOOD! it was, all in all, a lovely birthday!!
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? a bigger place and less homework!!
34. What kept you sane? the rents, the sis, the crew(s). as always.
36. What political issue stirred you the most? that political issues aren't given enough media coverage because we're so concered about Anna Nicole Smith's drugoverdose and her baby's unknown father and Paris Hilton's 4 day stay in "prison"
38. Who was the best new person you met? tough call. but I'm going with my boy Joe, Lizzy's man. one of the best people I've met in MANY years! love him.
39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned?:
Don't Sweat the Small Stuff, or even the Big Stuff.
