I think it's safe to say that a fair amount of people my age, or even, a fair amount of my close friends, enjoy revisiting their childhood favorites-songs, television, movies-when stoned.
With, perhaps, this in mind, I spent some time Friday with some batches watching Pippi Longstocking, no no no, not the cartoon - not the tv show - the original 1974 Swedish film dubbed with American voices.
I should jump back to the fact that people I know partake in things such as this often (Smufs on demand, come on people) but, NEVER, I want to repeate, NEVER has it been THIS GOOD.
Most often (as with last semesters revival of The Neverending Story) the movie is fun and a sweet reminder of being young but, no, Pippi is still a FANTASTIC film. FUCKING hillarious and I still want to be her or at least be her friend, probably moreso.

In additon I don't know where I left off on this, like what I last was up to and what I haven't written about that was a fun time. Last weekend was fun; if it was last weekend, or the one before, or something- Went to party at Mel's, pretty good times, lots of laughs, lots of champange for me, then back to Meggera's and for some reason, even though I think its a wicked stupid game when I see it played at school, when it's people like Victoria calling her teammates a Big Batch, or Kenny yelling "GO CAIT SQUIRE" everytime I'm trying to chug, flipcup, it's not that bad. I am so totally out of practice for proper sentence forming...great...

Oh yeah, I'm not in up at all on new music or whatever but, I've been hearing about that band that made the song about Where the Wild Things Are and how they adapt stories and novels and other forms of art into songs. I have a lot of respect for that creativity but, I have to admit I feel slightly livid towards all the people who LOVE Wuthering Heights because of that song about it. It really hurts my feelings that no one probably will take the time to read one of favorite books of all time, the hautingly romantic love story of the moors. But, whatever, Emily Bronte wherever you are, I think your genious and I'm sorry if you feel exploited.

Anyways, so basically, Friday night after me and Victoria watched Pippi, I went to Sarah's going away thing with some of the boys and it was a very pleasant night; again a lot of laughing. On the way home, I was deeply tired and was listening to Under the Tahitian Moon, kind of just thinking of Jill and smiling but, it led to the strangest dream - I had this dream that it was like my wedding, like random random people but, basically just most of my friends and I were getting ready for my WEDDING to Perry Farrel from Porno for Pyro's...well from Jane's Addiction to. It was SO weird but, I guess if you think about it, i'd probably have a pretty fantastic marriage with someone like that.

Law and Order: SUV (i hate these type of shows but, someone get ADDICTED to watching this)-Aug 14, A MUPPET EPISODE...WTF WTF WTF.
