Hey Bitches!
Nothing is funner than hitting a car while parallel parking....in downtown Detroit...in the company van...with a mentally ill resident with you. I seriously thought I was going to piss myself. I mean, I hit somebody's car in a bad part of town, and my passenger is a guy with a severe mood disorder that goes into self-abusive behaviors when he gets upset. When we got back to the group home, I had never been so happy to pull into that driveway in all my life.
For those of you who I haven't talked to in a while - I got promoted! I don't know if I'm still leaving in July now or not. I got the Med Coordinator position at work. Pretty much all it means is that I still do the same thing, I just also take the guys to their doctors appointments and am in charge of their medications. It's $11 an hour so it's not too bad.
Er, let's see...what else has been happening. Patrick and I went from being sorta serious to really serious and now we're back to not so serious. *shrugs* Maybe we're better as just friends or maybe we just needed to slow down a little. Either way, he's a really cool guy and he's really good to me. I just don't know that he's "the one" because I'm still attracted to other guys. You're not supposed to be attracted to other people if you found your soul mate, are ya?
