I still struggle to consider this manslaughter, surley it should be murder. Its probably safe to say that most murderers dont intend killing their victims but end up killing them at the spur of the moment they carried a malicious act of murder when they got pissed off.
I always understand that Manslaughter is killing without intending todo so but with actions that were irrisponsible, you could say this is that. But they know that if you keep beating somone until they are a bloody lump of meat they will surley die. Its not like they got drunk and accidently rode over some granny walking on the sidewalk.
That sentence doesnt reflect the magnitude of their actions.
