Could be something good... Could be something bad...
So here is the weekend as it looks right now...
Tonight - Workout, watch Stargate SG1 & Atlantis
Saturday - Play D&D (YAY!)
Sunday - Back to working on the server
Here are how the next couple of weeks are looking:
Wednesday the 9th go to Idaho, come back the afternoon of the 10th
Week of the 14th in Oxnard California
Now here is the could be good or could be bad...
My RSM told me on Tuesday she was moving back to California (the official announcement came out this morning) along with lots of other people moving around under our VP. Now while her and I do not always see eye to eye she has done plenty of good with this region so she will be missed for that.
Here is the interesting part her position is officially not being filled with reorganization announcement... This tends to mean they could not find somebody that wanted to move here. So today when I got the announcement officially showing her spot as a TBD for filling I sent a quick note to my boss, and then a quick note to her boss (who is also my RSM's boss), letting him know that I would interested in filling in while they look for somebody.
Now my first thought is that it is good that both my boss and my RSM think/know that I can do the job, so Woo Hoo! But thought two is that this is the job that I basically decided that I did not want a year and a half ago, but along with that we could get some random person that really does not fit in with the team which would suck.
I guess that for now I get to wait and see what happens. Letting me do this basically means my team is 3 people down which is not good, but it would be good experience for me and I can always use that.
