It's alive
So after pulling the network down last weekend I have internet back in my home office on my main machine. Lots to catch up on. Whats the first thing I do... Look at LJ!
Several hundreds of feet of new cable has been run for Gigabit ethernet along with higher grade stuff for TV. Phone was rerun as well. Probably about 1200' of totally new cable in all and we still have another 300+ left to run out to the garage, but that is waiting for when we start getting the alarm panel stuff wired.
Anyway tomorrow my FiOS service gets installed which I am looking forward to. It means that I will be off line for a bit again, but things are looking nice and fast in my future.
