The year of upgrades

So the year of upgrades continued for my Birthday, but before I get into that thanks to everyone for the well wishes and happy birthdays!

So as my journal readers know Ria and I have upgraded our driveway, and dishwasher, and are still on the lookout to upgrade the water heater so far this year. Well for my birthday Ria got me an upgraded Xbox so I now have a 360, and she also upgraded my MP3 player to the latest model in the Zen line up that we love. I luv my Zen's!

So on Sunday while I was hooking the new Xbox into my system I decided to upgrade to the hi-def converter box that I had gotten as gift from Ria a few years ago which means that I got to rewire the whole system. For some reason I love doing that stuff, but working behind that mammoth TV is not all fun and games. Anyway while doing this I pulled out all of my old never used systems. My N64, old PS1, Xbox, and Gamecube. Since it had been forever since I had used these things I took what could into Gamestop and traded it all in. They would not take the PS1 or N64 so I still have those. With my trade in dollars I decided to buy a PS2 slim (network adapter built in so actually saved $10 doing it that way instead of buying the older one), and thus upgraded my PS system as well. Now that means I play Kingdom Hearts!

Now in all of my rewiring, for those that don't know I am pretty anal about wire management, I totally forgot to charge up and drop music on the new Zen.

In other news, school starts tonight. I had to add this Monday class at the last moment so I have classes on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and 2 Saturdays this quarter. I am really looking forward to this quarters classes even though none of them apply to my degree.
