So many women, when asked the age of their newborn baby, give the answer in MONTHS, no matter what. The baby could be well past the one year mark, but they'll say "15 months" or whatever. How did this come about? How did this become an acceptable norm when it comes to baby talk? Personally, I think its a matter of women NOT WANTING TO LET GO of the "I've just had a baby" experience. Once the baby turns into a toddler, all the ooh ah'ing fades and the sudden absence of this attention drives them crazy. These are the same people who insist on entering their child into these disgusting baby pagents.
All this fawning over babies is an ILL in society and it must be stopped.
