Woke up feeling the beginnings of another cold, which isn't a big surprise since I've been running myself ragged between work and school this week. The feeling has been lingering, but I went ahead and worked out anyway so as not to slip off schedule. This gave me the energy to put my day to productive use, which didn't include going to my sociology class. In fact, after scoring a 90% on my first exam JUST from reading the textbook, I'm finding it difficult to justify 1) getting up before noon to get ready, 2) paying $2.00 to park in the chuch lot and 3) attending the lectures where there are 400 students and attenance is never taken.

Misty had some studying to do today too, so we headed up to Barnes & Noble. We grabbed some magazines and kept ourselves distracted for about an hour before we got to work. Thanks to my java chip frapucinno, I readily absorbed a lot of material from my Biology book and was even thinking of some creative mneomic (sp) devices I could use for flashcards, particularly this metaphor where cytokenesis can be visualized as a bra holding together two large breasts. The professor has always encouraged us to share these learning devices with her, but I'm not sure I can do it without looking like a pervert.

Just listened to my new voice mails, one of which comes from a sinister-sounding Christina who has a "proposition" for me. I'm supposed to drop by her house later to find out what this is all about.

Now I'm gonna go eat vegetarian hot dogs and watch "24".
