Last night, I caught the sneak preview of Team America: World Police, which was even better than I was expecting. Its funny, inspired, colorful and an overall amazing technological achievement. Whether one thinks the idea of mocking the war on terror is funny or not, everyone should agree that the films of Jerry Bruckenheimer are excessively over-funded, unspired pieces of shit. As long as you at least harbor that opinion, you will appreciate the sharp parody.
It has been one of those wonderfully dim, rainy days and I spent a large portion of it on line, drinking lipton's green tea. Misty offered to cook some vegetarian chili, so I had her write down a grocery list and took off to Wal Mart. Because I'm basically too lazy to be neurotic, I found myself in a fairly good mood as I pushed the cart around, dodging people right and left, that damn "Whatever you want, you got it" song blasting ironically over the scene.
I'm gonna go eat dinner now.
