I was reading magazines, drinking an "iced coffee dream" at Hastings when I got a call from Shelly. This guy she's dating stood her up. They were supposed to have dinner together and then watch Kill Bill Vol. 2, but since he blew her off, she was looking for something else to do. So she drove down to Norman. We had dinner at this cheap, somewhat greasy Chinese buffet place and then we went back to Hastings and looked through CD's for an hour and a half. When I get a job and have money, I need to pick up CD's by: Blur, Morrissey, Placebo, Air, Spiritualized, The Doves and many others. Afterwards, we came back to our house to watch a hilarious episode of Family Guy.
The evenings are getting colder and I'm really happy about it. I'm looking forward to wearing winter clothes and finally being able to run any time of the day. Gotta go take Simba for a walk and then I may go get applications from Borders and Barnes & Noble.
