what we could be adapting to in a matter of years maybe

1. in the philippines, don't you notice that EVERYONE has a relative abroad? that includes you! this is a very interesting stat because nobody's ever tried to figure out how it affects kids' psychological make-ups and how society's units are slowly morphing to fit this phenomenon - the most affected one being the family. there is a distance thing going on and i think that can lead us to being less interdepedent , especially to our blood relatives, thus also diminishing our filial instincts.

2. the internet age allows us to hop from one trail of thought to another via the use of browser tabs and the habit of multi-tasking. don't you notice how sometimes, when people tell us stories, they tend to leave out details, skip to the end point when some of the parts are still blurry and you're left to assume/speculate what the hell happened?  i think we can blame the internet age for that. this is when we're taught by our environment to be scatter-brains. i mean, it could be a good thing but the drawback is pretty obvious.
