She kicked her foot at some offending bubbles and tried to work out if his 'things to do' was going to be the last thing she ever heard from him. Their twenty days weren't even up and she'd already sent him running away from her.
"Wait a go, Evie Miller," she chastised herself as she slumped further into the bath tub. "Wait a fucking go."
