[ the next day dawns bright and-- still freezing, but a rune has been conquered, and one quarter-goddess is miraculously... still conscious.

Horribly embarrassed and horribly in pain while she's propped herself up against the front door, but still very much conscious! ]

[ For his own part, Alabaster had half-expected her to not be there when he woke up- the part where she's leaning on the front door in pain was new, though. ]

Saga-? [ he's up and dressed- well, half dressed. He doesn't have time to be embarrassed- rather quickly, and moving to her side ]

I'm- [ that startles him a little, and there's a brief pause before he shifts a little a brings an arm around her shoulders ] I'm fine, Saga.

[ it's comforting. Warm. And she's definitely content there. ] It wasn't the easiest of situations you were dropped into.

[ well, he's definitely content here, too ] I've made my living dealing with difficult situations. This... somehow wasn't so bad.
