Personality: First and foremost, Cliffjumper takes after his name. He's prone to diving in without thinking, and without help, despite the odds. He's been known to go off on ridiculous solo missions before, and yet somehow, he's always come out of them okay. At least mostly okay. He's got the skills to get him out of whatever scrape he charges into, and he knows this. In fact, some might even go far enough to call him overconfident. Cocky, even. A favorite saying of his is "You mess with Cliffjumper, and you get the horns." He seems to aggravate his fellow Autobots with it.

On top of being reckless and cocky, he's stubborn like you wouldn't believe. Once he's set his mind on something, he will not be moved. Come hell or high water or a small army of Decepticon drones, he will stick to his proverbial guns. His fellow Autobot, Arcee, has called him on it more than once, even though his stubborn nature ended up saving his life.

He also loves a challenge. A boring life patrolling around on Earth is not at all what he wants- he even says at some point that he almost missed the Decepticons, Earth is so boring. In his spare time, he's been known to bend Cardinal Autobot Rule Number One by terrorizing the local police a little just for the sake of livening things up.

All of this might make him seem unpleasant, but he's really not. He can be quite friendly, almost easygoing sometimes. His friends always come first, and he will do his damnedest to help them if he can- sometimes even against their wishes. If he has to, he'll risk his own life for the sake of those he cares about. This makes him quite close to his fellow Autobots- namely Arcee and Bumblebee- and well-liked by the group. Even if he does get a little annoying sometimes. With the right guidance, he has his rare moments of practicality, as well. He even has the capacity for stealth- which is impressive because he's a big bot- he just chooses not to use it.

Strengths/Weaknesses:
STRENGTHS
- Physically, he's quite strong. As a robot, he's big and broad and made for fighting.
- He's also quite handy in a fight, and is as good with his fists as he is with his weapons.
- On the rare occasions where he actually slows down to think, he can be quite clever.
- He is extremely loyal to and protective of his friends. Even in the face of overwhelming odds, he won't ever abandon them.

WEAKNESSES
- He often leaps in before looking, getting him in over his head a lot.
- He's very stubborn- bullheaded, if you will.
- When he gets bored, he's prone to doing stupid things to liven things up.
- He's got confidence in spades. Perhaps too much. His overconfidence likely fuels his recklessness.
- He can get kind of obnoxious in general. He has a tendency to be loud.

[ The feed begins as audio. There's a long silence before Cliffjumper finally speaks up ] Okay, I've got a question. How the frag to you humans deal with being so... squishy? I can deal with being short. I can even deal with walking everywhere. But you guys are so... All Spark, I don't even know.

I'm used to bein' armor-plated. I could take a lickin' and keep on tickin', as the saying goes. You humans- stop lookin' where you're going for two seconds, and suddenly BAM. You're leaking fluid. I'm pretty sure this red stuff is supposed to stay in my fuel lines, not on my bodywork. It's gettin' in my optics, too. Eyes. Whatever. Semantics. It's all got the same function.

[ The video clicks on, and there's Cliffjumper wearing a sheepish grin. He's got a gash in his forehead, a stream of blood tricking down the side of his face. ] I guess the real question is- am I gonna need a medic for this or will my autorepair take care of it?

Primus, I'm never gonna figure out how how this fragging body works.

Third Person Sample:
It was a familiar ritual by now- an easy way to keep his own skills sharp as well as those of his pokémon. He picked a nice open spot along one of the routes, well away from any people- though he'd be lying if he said he didn't enjoy an audience every once and a while- and let his Tauros out of its pokéball.

"You ready for this?" There was a smirk on his face that found its way into his tone.

The Tauros ducked his head, digging a hoof into the dirt- his signal to his trainer that he was, in fact, "ready for this".

Cliffjumper laughed. He couldn't fault his pokémon for his enthusiasm. "Come on then. Gimme your best shot."

The pokémon charged, making a beeline for Cliffjumper. The Autobot braced himself for impact, reaching out with massive hands for the Tauros' horns. He was big for a human, and he supposed he should at least be grateful for that. He'd be toast by now if he wasn't, though he doubted his pokémon would even agree to this if there was a chance he would hurt him.

He was driven back a good three feet by the Tauros before he dug his feet in, and began to push back, his hands clamped firmly on the pokémon's horns.

It was an intense little battle, each pushing against the other, trying to drive them to the opposite side of the clearing. The pokémon eventually got its trainer backed against a tree. Unless Cliffjumper was imagining things, he could have sworn it almost looked... smug. Cliff just smirked. "Don't get cocky. You mess with Cliffjumper, you get the horns." He twisted, maneuvering the Tauros into a headlock.

"Looks like I win again," he remarked. His only reply was an indignant noise and a light smack from a set of triple tails.
