Slipknot Concert
Holy crap! that concert was the best expirience of my entire LIFE! shadows fall and lamb of god played first and they were pretty good but when people were sheering for them after a song i'm like "finally! now get the fuck off the stage." and then when they walked away andthe lights went out i was like "YEAH!" but then they came back with another song everyone cheered and i was the only one going "NOOOOOO!" but whatever so i sat through some bands then a white curtain came down and slipknot was up next. they play some video of a guy in like jamaca playing the bongos or some shit.. randomly in the middle of the street playing for the people walking by then they played some skits of them like back stage and some guy getting his ass kicked then carried away, then they had a plain white room with a door and no windows and joey was playing the drums. he was so good he was doing the double bass thing like crazy and his arms wouldn't stop moving, it looked liek he had 4 arms and then it showed some pieces of some other concerts and people were singing along and stuff then switched again to them backstage and back to the guy playing bongos then the curtain just stayed white and people were trying to pull it down HAHA! then we heard the first song on the CD but it wasn't them playign it was just on liek a DJ thing or something because as all slipknot fans know the first track on every CD is just bullshit... like some beat and like 5 words... nothing special. then they came out and played thier music! it was FINAMINAL!! they played the blister exists, pulse of the maggots, spit it out, vermilion, vermilion pt.2, wait and bleed, surfacing, iowa, the heretic anthem, disasterpeice, people=shit, liberate, and a few more songs. but they played like maniacs!
JOEY (drummer)
he was playing while attached to his seeat with liek a seat belt or some shit and his drums were attached to his platform and the platform went up and it was slowly spinning and bending and shit so he was playing like upside down and sideways and beckwards and shit.. then he was doin liek a solo and he did great
SID (turntables)
he was up about 2 and a half stories(like the height of 2 and a half floors of a building) and you run up 1 ramp yo get to joey but it was a little one and then 2 more big ones to get to sid on one sid and craig on the other. but shawns drums would go up and he was set up right infront of sid. so sid jumped off of his turn tables on to shawns drums but barely reached, he was holding on to one of the kegs (the keg is part arf the drums) then he swung himself up to the drums and started headbanging and going crazy. then when he did it again instead of swinging onto the drums he swung onto the nearby speaked because there were liek 3 big ones stacked up so he stood on that and the crown went wild then he jumped onto everyone and went crowd surfing. he did great as well
COREY (lead singer)
he was constantly telling us about thier previous shows and how he always like west palm beach because he had his first good show there. that our crowd was more involved than anywhere else. so in the middle of spit it out he stopped the music and said, "how many of you have been here before?" people cheered "then you'll all know what i'm going to do right?" they all cheered again and i saw some people getting down on one knee... i was a tiny bit confused. corey continued, " alright so for all the people that this is thier first slipknot show.. i want all the crazy mother fuckers in here to get down on one knee." people began kneeling (myself and my brother included) and some people in the front didn't but prettymuch everyone in the back did except for my mom and fufi and this fat guy 2 rows in front of us. corey yelled, "i think the back is more pumped than the front." back cheered, people in the front booed and more got down on 1 knee " i think the people in the back are doing a little better!" cheering and booing continued then he shut everyone up and said, "now.. when i say 'jump the fuck up' i want everyone that's down on 1 knee to jump the FUCK UP! but not until i say 'jump the fuck up' understand? (more cheering) alright joey give me some.." joey started up the spit it out beat and so did mick, james, and paul... You got DICK when they passed out the good stuff, Bam, Are you sick of me? GOOD ENOUGH - HAD ENOUGH (JUMP THE FUCK UP) FUCK ME! i'm all out of enemies.." and he finished up the song. i love corey taylor!
MICK (guitar), JAMES (lead guitar) and PAUL (bass)
they did fucking incredible as well.. i couldn't even keep track of thier little figners they were moving so fast!! i didnt't even think that was possible! but it seems to be. they did great btu nothign insane because they couldn't stop playing
CRAIG (media and sampling)
he didn't do much but he was head banging up by his media and sampling stuffand whenever i'd look at him i'd get nervouse because his mask is black with abunch of huge neddles stickout so i was worried he would head banged to hard and hit a needle through his head so i tried not to focus on him too much
SHAWN and CHRIS (precussion)
they were oth nuts. they were doing back up for corey and such.chris seemed to enjoy get on his drum set and head banging on it and almost tipping it over.. shawns drumset was a little cooler because his would go up into the air then come back down. not like joeys but shawns would go up and spin in circles and he was playing in the air spinnign but joey was twisting and turning and shit, shawn did none of that but he was still great
the lights went out at the end of the show then corey comes back on and says "you didn't think we'd leave without sayign good bye did you?!" so they played anotehr song then everyone left. that concert was fuckign incredible and next time me and javi go... WE'RE TAKING JULIE!! all 3 of us decided that if her mom doesn't let her we'll like kidnap her or something but she WILL come!!
