Chillacious: A 'Hip Hip Hooray' Musical In Several Parts
Yesterday I, Jared HD Orlin, noted Hellokittyist and Healyfeelyist, turned the big 2-8. The day was marked by a chillacious (my new word) picnic at Zoo Lake which also happens to be a notorious cruising spot, but only if you're looking to shag dodgy married men. The heavens unfortunately opened so the picnic became more of an impromptu bash at the Zoo Lake Bowling Club, which worked out just fine. The festivities were co-sponsored by my good pal Mnr Hertzog 'Johannes' Van Heerden, who birthdayed today and were preceded by a Friday night Jews-a-gathering gathering at my grandmamma's place for dindins. The event was attended by both sets of parentals and step-parentals, which is a HUGE, nay monumental, achievement given that mumsy and daddums have spent the greater part of the last 26 years fighting/blatantly ignoring one another. My mother even had a long conversation with my pregnant step-mother about her work [see how much detail i can cram into one sentence; now that's good journalism].
