This weekend was college.
First, let's start with Thursday at about 5. Abhishek (Shek) had never done laundry before, so he, Amanda, Romanda (Ro), and I went down to do it with him. Well, there's a Galaga machine over there, and you get infinite lives because it's free, so Amanda and I definitely spent 2 hours getting the high score. That was very pathetic and awesome at the same time. Shek and Ro got tired of waiting so they left, and we (Amanda and I) spent a good 45 minutes trying to find them and hanging out with other people. We were going to go to Brittain (crappy food place near our dorm), but they (Shek and Ro) went to the student center to play pool. So we went over there, and they were like, hey let's go to Woodruff (better food place, other side of campus). Ah what the well, I haven't been there yet, and it's 815 so I'm hungry, so we went. It was a longass walk. And the food sucked, because by the time we got there most of the stuff had been closed down, so the choice was really small.
So we come back using the campus bus. I did not have pockets, so I put my cell, keys, and wallet on the seat next to me... and apparently I only picked up the cell and keys. This is at about 9, and we (me, Shek, Amanda) had decided to go get wasted before, and I had to take a shower, so I spent until about 10 looking for my wallet because I realized I had lost it. They went ahead and got ready, I ran around like a chicken with its head cut off. I got back on the bus, but the driver said he had already given it to the police lost and found. I called the police station, and they said I had to come pick up the wallet as soon as possible because I needed my ID for to get into the game and they were going to be busy with game stuff the next morning so I couldn't do it then. Sooo Amanda, Dan (looks like Jesus), and I walked to the place (because we just missed the bus again), and guess what? The place is on the other side of campus, right next to Woodruff. We walked around random ways for fun, so we didn't get back until about 11. On the way back, Shek and Francisco (from Nicaragua) were tired of waiting for me (haha they wanted to get fucked up) so they went over to Delta Chi. Amanda and Jesus went along with them, and I ran off and showered and whatnot then spent about 20 minutes helping Ben call Ro for doing laundry.
Anyway, Delta chi sucked, so they went over to Delta Tau Delta, a very good place. I went over there, and I came in time for a mixed drink and a round of shots. Well, I ended up drinking some more beer and such there, met some new people, hanging out. Then I played my first game of beer pong. Man, I was really getting impaired during that, and I'm surprised I hit the winning shot. I definitely put in a dollar to see two girls make out. It was during beer pong when I decided to stop drinking because my stomach was feeling messed up, and I think that's because you're not supposed to mix shots and beer? Well, I just remembered that then, so I took a break from drinking, and it's a good thing. Shek was being quite tipsy, and Amanda was doing worse, so we didn't stay all that much longer.
It was at about 3 when I was like, yeah we need to leave, because Amanda kept running off (unsupervised), soo I took her and Shek back (Shek was doing better). Amanda crashed at my place, and she was surprisingly not doing too bad. My roommate was over at someone else's place, so she had a bed. She ended up waking up before me, and left at about 11 (she woke me up and told me, but I was still half asleep). Well, today was game day, first home game! I ate breakfast about 145, and the game started at 330. UNC SUCKS!! YAH GABRIELLA!!! It was fun, the score should not have been that close (27-21) but whatever, it's a win.
About 40 of us had decided to go to an Indian restaurant after (plans were going on for like a week), so we went over there right after the game. The food was pretty good, but there was not enough for each person to be full like there normally is. So I was still hungry, and I still had to pay for it as if I was full (a full price), so I was not happy leaving the place. Half of us decided to go the The Varsity (restaurant) afterward, and that actually hit the spot. We came back, and had the brilliant idea of watching Office Space. We definitely fit 12 people in the dorm room comfortably (though more could have fit on Jacob's bed). In the middle, I get a call from Soundarya saying my friend/roommate Ravi had left his cell at The Varsity, so after the movie (at about 1) we went back and got it. We talked to the cop guy there for about fifteen minutes too. And now, I am tired. Hopefully I can get some work done tomorrow.
