espn.com is amazing. Here is an excerpt:
Q: I have a Vegas Bachelorette Party Theory that I want to share with you and your readers: If you see a bachelorette party going on in Vegas, DO NOT APPROACH THEM, the only thing they will do to the men that approach them is tease them and make them look like idiots. There will always be a "mother hen" protecting the really drunk ones. It is a no-win situation. You need to keep your distance. Make eye contact with the ones that are looking around. Smile at any of them that break away to go to the bar, and maybe say hello. BUT THAT IS ALL. Then you must wait. Sooner or later they will all head back up to the rooms, because the bachelorette is way too drunk. Now pay attention, this is the important part. More often than not, in about 20 minutes, two or three of the girls will head back down. Run; don't walk, to talk to these girls. They came back down for one reason.

Right on, Rob.

Rain-X is also amazing. You put it on your windshield, and it makes the water bead up when it rains. That stuff REALLY helps. Like, in really hard rain at 60 mph, you don't need wipers. It's worth it.

Georgia Tech orientation was ok. My schedule is cool, I only have one morning class. However, the cafeteria food sucks. Like, it's so bad, I'm probably gonna downgrade my meal plan. Plus there's a huge hill I'm gonna have to walk up like everyday. Oh well, it's exercise right.

I like Bow Wow's music for the most part. He doesn't have great lyrics, but the beat is nice, and that's all that matters to me. But still, I was just thinking the other day, how could he have any street cred having been a kid rapper? I mean, struggle is kinda a big part of rap, i.e. struggle against authority. But seriously, what did he struggle against growing up? The IRS?

Stanton administration sucks. See Cez's site for details. Mike Thompson's beard is sweet though. He did a good job with it. Overall the day was saved with the Adam and Ellen sighting. And seeing David Warren and John Guinn running from Mr. Lewis.

This post isn't as good as it used to be. I had an earlier one, but LJ screwed me on it again. I swear, LJ can be the devil.

Driving from here to Atlanta isn't so bad. The construction zones suck but, other than that, it's ok. I drove for four hours straight last time, no breaks. And I only stopped because I got hungry. Then again, anytime I go four hours without food, I will be hungry.

My brother and I rented the Chapelle Show Season 1 on DVD from Blockbuster. It isn't all that great.

My dad bought a larger screen TV the other day - 56 inches, hi def. It's not hooked up yet, but it's sweet. We constructed the stand today. Man making stuff with my dad around is annoying.

What hectic-ocity - Saturday I drove to Atlanta, Sunday GT orientation, Monday orientation and drove back, Tuesday GT Jacksonville freshman sendoff (Stephen Davidson is going there (yes the one from jay-dub)), Wednesday Stanton trip, Thursday cake, Friday club?, Saturday party, Sunday pick up bro from airport.

I never did a restaurant review but I figure I should do it now,
Taco Bell is the gold standard, because of price and taste.
Jackie Lee's China Bistro, located near Winn Dixie at 9a and Baymeadows, is awesome. Like, I used to hate Chinese food, yet that's almost my favorite restaurant. Awesome food, prices not too bad (like $7 or so).
Mama Fu's is like Moe's, except for Chinese food. I didn't like it as much as Jackie Lee's, but it is kinda good too. I'm not a big fan of Moe's in the first place.
Cha Cha's is a little Mexican place. It's a lot like Los Toros and those things. Greasy food, not expensive, but man can it hit the spot sometimes.
Fontana's is an Italian place on Beach, right next to that expressway that leads to the Hart bridge or something. It's a nice sit down place, very good food, not so good service.
Wild Noodles is on Southside on the opposite side of Tinseltown sorta near Touchton. I didn't like it that much, but I'm not a big noodles person anyway.
Biscotti's is in Riverside or so, very good food, a tad pricey but not really, very good food (yes for the second time), very good cakes.
Truffles is a little place at like San Jose and Mandarin Road, really really really good turtle cheesecake, I assume other stuff there is good too. It's only dessert stuff.
PF Chang's is really good too. Different from Jackie Lee's, but I'd put them both in the same league for sure.
Maggiano's was pretty good. I only had lunch, but it was good.
See, now I'm getting into places everyone has been to. So just for fun, Hooters has really good drumsticks.

I will leave with a line from Justin Timberlake's album "Justified" (yes I have it, yes I listen to it) - "You're outta this world, except you're not green."
