I just dropped my truck Goldie, who I shall now refer to henceforward as THE HOG due to her gas guzzling ways, off at the mechanic's place. This is not my usual mechanic, and it made me a tad nervous, but I had her checked out there last week. They seem to think something is up with the wiring to make it shift between second and third gear...thus the gas guzzling ways. They checked out the transmission, and it seems fine. So they're running some tests, and I should have her back tomorrow, I think. Here's hoping that it's something that is relatively easy and inexpensive to fix...In more happy news, Mama and I went shopping afterward, and I got some fun bath stuff. Granted, a lot of it is baby stuff, because I have developed ezcma on my legs. I always glory in getting girly stuff though for the bath, like conditioner and things. We had to get some cold stuff, as the freaking plague is still circulating through my house. Hopefully it will pass soon. Well, I'm off to read.
