Well, Memorial Day is approaching its close, and I am so freaking tired. I stayed up late last night with Mama, and we watched a Law & Order SVU marathon. Afterwards we amused ourselves with Talk Sex with Sue Johnson and some show called Show Me Yours, which was decent. But this meant that today I am so tired because I fell asleep somewhere around four or five-crazy.
Well, I'm having lunch with my dad this week; should be interesting, as I haven't seen him really since Christmas. Well, now he stopped one day when I was in bed with that concussion, and he asked how I was and then left. Great conversationalist my dad. But Mama told him that I no longer called him because I could no longer depend on him, which was true; however, he is now attempting to prove her wrong by this little dinner date. Sigh. Probably I'll be more excited later; now it just isn't happening.
Oh, for those who are looking for a good read that will make you want to do something with the world, I highly recommend Shame of the Nation-the restoration of apartheid schooling in America. Sounds dull, but it isn't. Reading it for a class and really enjoying it.
