Okay, I promised myself I would make an update about last week. I'm finally owning up.
Wednesday I went to Minnesota to visit my friend, draconity. We went to Convergence, which of course was freaking amazing. I haven't been in (I think we decided) 4 years. It was really great to see everyone again. I missed my MN friends a lot. Four days of con was definitely not enough time to catch up. I also made new friends (because I'm so cool) so now I really can't go another 4 years between visits. That was really lame of me. *shame*
Day one we were piratey, day two was kind of Victorian-esque Lolita and day three was street clothes. We totally skipped out on Sunday because we were tired. Dancing all night kind of does that...
So I came home Monday wishing I had another few weeks to spend up there. *sigh* I really hate needing to have a job. I miss traveling and I definitely miss spending the whole summer with draconity. I miss her a lot. She needs to come down here... ¬_¬ And I also need to go up there in the winter. I think. *parka*
