Now I have job, I read my excellent mangas again.

A discussion, after Ao comes back from his medical check-up. And no, knowing any more background of this story won’t help anything. Besides maybe that before this we saw on the news that someone who had escaped from somewhere or other had been killing people by draining their blood (Gee. I wonder what that’s all about.), and perhaps that Ao seems to have some sort of mystical… er, growing problem, just if you want to know.

Gunji: Ao. Report your results.
Ao: They were results the researchers were happy about.
Gunji: But as for you, it was enough that you don’t think it was desirable that they came out to the actual spot itself. Because it is precious.
Ao: I threw up.
*dramatic shot of Nanaki and Ao’s eyes*
Nanaki: Is this a story of you eating a lot?
Ao: …not with you.
*end dramatic shot*
Nanaki: You go outside.
Ao: That is desired.
Gunji: That’s enough. Ao, what is the thing you wanted to say? (You two are terrible…)
Ao: I want to search for the suspect of the loss of blood murder.
Nanaki: Loss of blood? (What’s that about?)
Ao: It’s an incident similar to the cattle mutilation case.
Satsuki: Wait, Ao! Are you meaning to say it is the action of a UFO!?

…at which point Nora’s brain a splode, and she decides to do something else for tonight. Not having read a new chapter of this manga in nearly a month, it seems I had forgotten how hard it is to figure out what people are talking about at some points. And if anyone can think of another thing kyatoru myuutireeshon could mean, I’d really like to know. Though actually for some reason I was about to accept investigating cattle mutilation as a relatively understandable duty of LOCK. It was the random mention of UFOs in connection with this that finally did the sploding. You know, if there was ever a reason to be sad that the arc I’m reading now is the very last in this series, it’s that now we know that there’s never going to be an arc dedicated to a flashback of the cattle mutilation case. Ao talks about it like Nanaki was there or something. I so totally knew they were doing stuff behind the scenes they didn’t show in the story. That must have been when they finally fell in love. There’s nothing more romantic than investigating cattle mutilated by UFOs.
