Not having read a new chapter of this manga in nearly a month, it seems I had forgotten how hard it is to figure out what people are talking about at some points. And if anyone can think of another thing kyatoru myuutireeshon could mean, I’d really like to know. Though actually for some reason I was about to accept investigating cattle mutilation as a relatively understandable duty of LOCK. It was the random mention of UFOs in connection with this that finally did the sploding. You know, if there was ever a reason to be sad that the arc I’m reading now is the very last in this series, it’s that now we know that there’s never going to be an arc dedicated to a flashback of the cattle mutilation case. Ao talks about it like Nanaki was there or something. I so totally knew they were doing stuff behind the scenes they didn’t show in the story. That must have been when they finally fell in love. There’s nothing more romantic than investigating cattle mutilated by UFOs.
