First of all, I know I said 'yaru' was my new favorite Japanese word. But look:

I was also a little amused by the word that had both 'yes' and 'no' listed under the meaning. I guess yaru is still better. But still... and then I looked up kaku, assuming it must be narwhal, and it wasn't there. Definatly magical. Maybe I should just lump it all together:

But considering how automatic translators will translate things like the word 'psychic,' which you will hear about later, I'm not entirely sure they can be trusted. That is, of course, in addition to the fact that the phrase "to be, viewing care" doesn't even make any sense.
What's happening is Ao's talking about a spirit being inside some girl's cell phone. At first it makes it seem like Nanaki is taking him seriously, but then in the next frame he's looking bored and annoyed and asking if Ao's tired and telling him if he doesn't get enough sleep, he won't ever get bigger. Ao looks even more annoyed and says in big, bold letters, "いらん世話だ." Then Nanaki says, "まーまー" (?) and that right now all he can do is sing Ao a lullaby. And then he does.
As for sewa:
世話 【せわ】 (n,vs) looking after; help; aid; assistance
'Iran,' on the other hand, had no definition in the dictionary. ...Well, there was this:

However, I'm fairly certain Ao isn't telling Nanaki to help Iran. At least in this instance. That lead to "iransewa" in google and babelfish, and failing that leaving it in kanji and hiragana and googleing it again, then looking at the auto english translations of the pages and looking for how the phrase "to be, viewing care" was used in all the instances it popped up. This page seemed to have the best clues:

I need them all so much. ...I'm a little sad that I actually understand where the translator got 'rhinoceros kick' from. It takes a way a lot of the fun. I am, however, proud that my understanding came from Hikaru no Go. Go, go. Igo.
But more importantly. Are not Ao and Nanaki getting a little... touchey? How weird, though. They haven't yet ever stared at each other and blushed or accidently reached for something at the same time and had their hands touch or accidently walked in on eachother showering or gotten unreasonably angry at the other for talking to a girl (or boy I guess now :). I mean, most of the time that doesn't really make sense to do that with someone you just met, but that's how bad and even most good anime and manga work! Everyone falls in love at first sight. And I know they fight, but it seemed more like that usual comic buddy cop sort of thing. This manga author doesn't know how to follow the rules at all. How... surprisingly respectable. But shonen ai. I guess this is what you get for buying a shojo manga with no female main characters...
Uh... well... well forget them! They're stupD girls always annoying anyway. Ao and Nanaki are going to fall in to like so much rhinoceros kick love. It's going to be so hard to not flip through the later volumes if someday I have them to see if there are any mushy scenes. They gonna kiss. That's just so cute. But I hope they don't grope. I'm not sure how long I'm going to be able to make myself stay staring at a page to translate it if it has lots of the man groping. The groping of Sakende thoroughly disturbed me. And then it got ...worse. But we don't like to think about that. Those pages can be skimmed. Skimmed from a distance. But I considering I can barley read Nanaki, skimming might prove to be a problem. But all is well. It's an innocent lil' manga. And Sakende was guys in their late 30's. *shivers again* I don't have to worry about that. Though Ao could always keep growing. ...Ew.

Like that I don't spend hours translating shonen-ai manga and then writing about it in my LJ.

So a note to you... interesting people. ^_~ No, NANAKI is not actually shounen-ai. It just really, really looked like it to me from that cover. And it's labeled as that in some online stores. But the stores, and my rush to judge it here so that I could make fun of it, were both incorrect. The author Saenagi just really, really likes to do lots of blantant pandering to the yaoi fangirls. Cause she's funny like that. That is all.
