awe that sucks! I wish you could go. I will :) I hope you get to go soon. I have some Aussie friends who went and saw it and they loved it. One said she enjoyed it more than the book.

what class is it for? My other friends Aussie friend says it lacked imagination from the book but idk I'd have to see for myself because the movie is supposed to bring the imagination created in the book to life.

It's for my ethnic minority class on the African American unit. I think I aced it! Hopefully! *fingers crossed*
My imagination runs wild when I read. I feel as though movies put a lid on imagination. You know, like the characters and everything is set. So when you close your eyes you just picture it like it is in movies after you watch it. But I still can't wait!

OH I know what you mean. I got pissed after some movies I've watched that was based on books. Overall, I would say they did a great job and you got the see a lot more of the capital and how it was ran which I think you should. From a writer's strandpoint. The First book did a lot of telling instead of showing, which I know she had to due to the nature of the book or it probably wouldn't have gotten published or it would have ran at at much slower pace. I think it was very well done in contrast to the book. They even threw in extra parts not in the book. A bit sad tho. Its not a movie you can just re-watch over and over in theaters.

Extra parts? Hmmmm... interesting. I'm excited about that!
But yeah, I guess I would have expected it to be sad. It's not really a heartwarming book, but it certainly makes you think/feel :)
Thanks for letting me know you're thoughts!
