So summer is not what it used to be. I don't know if it's just the fact that it's four months long, or if it's work, but I feel like that happy time-off warm fuzzy feeling went away, and it's kind of sad. I actually really, really like work, but just the same, it's not like I totally look forward to going every day. I don't know. It's almost like a regression from college. But that's ok.
Work is like, an exhibition of all types of people. A lot of old people are really nice, and then like, half the people that come in are drug addicts, for serious. And then others scream at you when their viagra ran out, or if their chantix isn't covered. It's weird, but it's really interesting. And I am quite soothed by putting the pills in bottles and then putting the labels on. No joke. I love that. My coworkers are cool too. It makes the people who like, verbally abuse you and then tell you that they're never coming back and give you bad feedback on the website a whole lot more bearable. And I can always smile at the fact that hopefully, I'll be a professional drug dealer in the end. :D. I will admit it is a little weird though to see what prescriptions some of the people you know are on. A little awkward. Or, in some cases, it really does make sense.
Aside from that though, Harry Potter comes out next week, and I'm excited. The week after that, the book comes out, and I'm sad for that. Because it's the last one. And it's the end of Harry Potter. Wah. And then, at the end of the month, Matt and I are going to NYC. And I'm so excited. We're going in on the 30th, going shopping and such around times square. Very ritzy. Then, we're getting dinner...somewhere. I have my heart set on wearing my cliche little black dress to dinner and a show, so I'm hopping to go somewhere kinda nice. Then, we got tickets to Avenue Q. It's a musical that involves puppets. Hm. It got really good reviews though, and it's a Gen X targeted thing, so it should be good :) Then...by some grace of God, my parents offered to rent us a room in the Sheraton at times square...So we're spending the night there, and then going to the museum of natural history. That's what I'm most excited about cuz I'm a nerd like that. I love that place though. Especially the whole evolution hall. Eee. Then, once we come back from that, we're spending the rest of the week on Block Island/his mom's yacht. I'm so excited.
SO EXCITED.
But for now, I have to go to sleep so I can go to work tomorrow. Bye guys :).
